Luciano Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, LaLola's Julian Piarres got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Camilo Tohias came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the LaLola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Tohias couldn't finish the play. Urutaú's Angelo Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Tohias in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Urutaú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Elia to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Godfredo Dorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Cutberto having to interfere. Melquiades Caitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aquilino Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Dorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Cutberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Arixo during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, LaLola's Santos Arixo got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Mateo Oxarra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquilino Silvanito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 46 minutes, Hector Lertxun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urutaú and the LaLola players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Urutaú's Hector Lertxun got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Tohias was the one to do the kick off. Angelo Cutberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Dorio's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Caitano in the 58th minute of play forced LaLola's goalkeeper Aquilino Silvanito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Silvanito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Caitano in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Godfredo Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. LaLola's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Dorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Cutberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Tohias in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Urutaú's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Tohias came free, but Angelo Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Godfredo Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Tohias in the 69th minute of the match. Urutaú's Angelo Cutberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Urutaú from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in LaLola's zone, Luciano Tabby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Silvanito came out of the goal and Luciano Tabby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godfredo Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Angelo Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Tohias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Urutaú's zone, Camilo Tohias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Cutberto came out of the goal and Camilo Tohias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Urutaú booed when LaLola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Melquiades Caitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aquilino Silvanito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the LaLola players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Urutaú.
