The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Nikola got free with Hipolito Confesor in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benigno Bernard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Confesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Bernard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Eustacio Froylan made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Marciano Gilen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hipolito Confesor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Bernard's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Froylan in the 55th minute of play forced C.A. GABY's goalkeeper Marciano Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Confesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Bernard in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Camilo Cortez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Queñoal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. GABY the free kick. After 59 played minutes Queñoal got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Cortez. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eustacio Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queñoal's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Froylan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Gilen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustacio Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, one of C.A. GABY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 1-2 after a penalty in the 78th minute, where Queñoal:s Alfonso Porfirio tricked C.A. GABY:s Marciano Gilen with a difficult ball by the left post. When Saul Magdaleno fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Queñoal's protests and gave Saul Magdaleno a yellow card for diving instead. Saul Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Nikola in the 86th minute of play forced Queñoal's goalkeeper Hipolito Confesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
