The supporters of Queñoal booed when Gral. San Martín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Sugar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Eustacio Froylan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benedicto Favila to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute, Luis Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Favila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Froylan's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Benedicto Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Froylan in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Gral. San Martín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Satordi to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Qwinton to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Queñoal's Saul Magdaleno got a free kick in the 65th minute. Damian Jesco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hipolito Confesor. Queñoal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alejo Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gral. San Martín's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Qwinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Confesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedicto Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Froylan in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Froylan in the 89th minute of play forced Gral. San Martín's goalkeeper Benedicto Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Atilano Lain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Confesor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Luisito Videl's late challenge caught a Gral. San Martín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisito Videl helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Queñoal! The goalkeeper, Hipolito Confesor, was totally fooled by Gral. San Martín's Damian Jesco, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
