Atilano Lain received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marciano Gilen came out and tried to block the shot, but Atilano Lain slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Santos Domiku shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedicto Favila showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Faustino Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Sugar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, C.A. GABY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Bernard to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. GABY's zone, Alejo Qwinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Gilen came out of the goal and Alejo Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Gral. San Martín getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lázaro Iraunkor hit a great ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Bernard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marciano Gilen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Qwinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Claudio Sugar fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gral. San Martín's protests and gave Claudio Sugar a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Gral. San Martín got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Sugar. Benedicto Favila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Bernard, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Benigno Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Favila having to interfere. The supporters of Gral. San Martín booed when C.A. GABY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gral. San Martín's Benedicto Favila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Gral. San Martín from getting a goal against them. Faustino Nikola struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Benedicto Favila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. GABY.
