Alfredo Belmiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Bordat in the 6th minute. If Rigoberto Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Rameriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Estevez in the 10th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Carril got a freekick which was hit by Isidro James. Rigoberto Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Rameriz having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Eron notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carril's Luisito Rameriz. Luisito Rameriz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Godofredo Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Leandro Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nightwatch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rigoberto Eron came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Nightwatch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Eron couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Nightwatch's zone, Isidro James stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Belmiro came out of the goal and Isidro James tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Estevez in the 34th minute of play forced Carril's goalkeeper Luisito Rameriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Carril's Baltasar Goiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Belmiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carril's Luisito Rameriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Eron in the 46th minute of play. Luisito Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Eron to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Leandro Estevez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisito Rameriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Godofredo Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alfredo Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Bordat in the 62nd minute of play forced Nightwatch's goalkeeper Alfredo Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Nightwatch defense, Godofredo Bordat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Belmiro. The Nightwatch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Belmiro should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Nightwatch's Luisito Rameriz threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rigoberto Eron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 72 played minutes Carril got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Lluques. Godofredo Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alfredo Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Goiz scored 2-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Belmiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Estevez in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Rameriz saved Carril from getting behind. Alfredo Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Bordat, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Honorato Eguen hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Nightwatch got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Pierres. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
