Spectators: 7057 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 5) Dario Sabino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Cafayate's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Sabino came free, but Placido Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Ranquilcó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Romo to maneuver through the defense. When Filomeno Jacindo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cafayate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Jacindo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cafayate booed when Ranquilcó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Romo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ranquilcó FC's Hugo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Jacindo in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ranquilcó FC's Delmar Etxatxu got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Cafayate booed when Ranquilcó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Cafayate's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Sabino came free, but Placido Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Jacindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes Ranquilcó FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Romo. Eriberto Gaspard struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Hugo Loi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafayate. Hugo Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Gaspard in the 32nd minute of play. Eriberto Gaspard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Gaspard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Loi having to interfere. Ranquilcó FC's Hugo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Gaspard in the 40th minute of play. Filomeno Jacindo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hugo Loi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafayate. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Jacindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Loi was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Eriberto Gaspard struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Hugo Loi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafayate. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Hugo Loi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Jacindo in the 61st minute. Diego Frechoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Sasoin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ranquilcó FC's Erubiel Romo got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Cafayate were awarded a corner. Ricardo Ado went to the cornerflag to take it. Rodrigo Urko tried in the game's 78th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Hugo Loi. An annoying self made goal, 0-2. Maximo Bibiano's late challenge caught a Ranquilcó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Bibiano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84thth minute of the game Diego Frechoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cafayate's Placido Sasoin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eriberto Gaspard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Loi having to interfere. Ranquilcó FC's Hugo Loi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ranquilcó FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 93 minutes, Eriberto Gaspard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafayate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Gaspard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Ranquilcó FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cafayate's performance. The match ended with a win for Cafayate.
