Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Primitivo Fernandez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Aristides Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Cortez came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Berretta's Aristides Pedroso. But to his dismay, Aristides Pedroso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Ercoupe FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ermegildo Lartaun hit a great ball. When Lorenzo Palben came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Berretta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Palben couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Cortez came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Berretta's Lorenzo Palben. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Palben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the game, Aristides Pedroso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Guillermo Cortez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Cortez having to interfere. After 23rd play minutes Lorenzo Palben shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Guillermo Cortez and just under the crossbar into goal. Aristides Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Guillermo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berretta's Lorenzo Palben got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ercoupe FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Cortez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Aristides Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Ercoupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Rivero. In the 37th minute, Aristides Pedroso made a precise shot to the right of Guillermo Cortez. Ercoupe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 41st minute, Aristides Pedroso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berretta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Pedroso in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ercoupe FC's Guillermo Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Palben in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Guillermo Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Pedroso in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Lorenzo Palben managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berretta's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Palben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Ercoupe FC's Guillermo Cortez got control of the ball when Lorenzo Palben tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ercoupe FC's Guillermo Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ercoupe FC from getting a goal against them. Aristides Pedroso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillermo Cortez came out and tried to block the shot, but Aristides Pedroso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes Ercoupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Chayo. 64 minutes into the match, Ahmet Korcan Bülbül had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Cortez. Ercoupe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Korcan Bülbül was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. After 67 played minutes Ercoupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Lartaun. Ercoupe FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Aristides Pedroso scored to the left of an out of position Guillermo Cortez, making the score, 0-9. In the 78th minute, Aristides Pedroso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guillermo Cortez. The goal made the score 0-10. Lorenzo Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Bakar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ercoupe FC's Guillermo Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ercoupe FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ercoupe FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Osvaldo Cayo hit a great ball. When the match was over Berretta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ercoupe FC throughout the match.
