After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Fabio Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Bañil's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Eutropio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabio Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bartolo Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Chepe in the 26th minute of play forced Team Roughnecks's goalkeeper Bartolo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Tabb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Adrian Primeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Real Bañil defense, Cesar Tabb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Primeiro. The Real Bañil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Primeiro should have stopped the shot. If Horacio Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Real Bañil got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Ireno. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Tabb made a kick off. In the 51st minute Horacio Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Locaio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes, Melquiades Elodio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Roughnecks and the Real Bañil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Team Roughnecks fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, Real Bañil's Cristian Silban got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bartolo Lastur. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Team Roughnecks! Team Roughnecks:s Bartolo Lastur showed great skill when he stopped Cristian Silban:s penalty. When Serafin Gonsalve fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Bañil's protests and gave Serafin Gonsalve a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Serafin Gonsalve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Cesar Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Primeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Chepe in the 88th minute of play forced Team Roughnecks's goalkeeper Bartolo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Horacio Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bartolo Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Xabier hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Adrian Primeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Cesaro in the 99th minute of play. Real Bañil were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Team Roughnecks to leave the ground with a draw.
