Andres Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Placido Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Froilan Bernad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tu Vieja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Bernad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Placido Sasoin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Albino Piorno kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cafayate's Ricardo Ado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tu Vieja FC. After a rather tough play, Tu Vieja FC's Gaudencio Nayely got a free kick in the 34th minute. Froilan Bernad took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Sasoin. Placido Sasoin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cafayate's zone, Froilan Bernad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Sasoin came out of the goal and Froilan Bernad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Gaspard to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cafayate's Ricardo Ado got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Cafayate's Eriberto Gaspard in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Bernad in the 68th minute of play forced Cafayate's goalkeeper Placido Sasoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Bernad took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Sasoin. Placido Sasoin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 73 minutes into the game, Maximo Bibiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cafayate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tu Vieja FC the free kick. After 73 played minutes Cafayate got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Bibiano. The audience held their breath when Albino Piorno in the 74th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Placido Sasoin's left hand side. In the 81stth minute of the game Froilan Bernad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cafayate's Placido Sasoin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cafayate's goalkeeper Placido Sasoin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Froilan Bernad notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cafayate's Placido Sasoin. Placido Sasoin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Ado's late challenge caught a Tu Vieja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Ado helped the player get up and apologised. Ricardo Ado hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Albino Piorno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Placido Sasoin. Cafayate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andres Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Sasoin having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Cafayate's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Bernad came free, but Placido Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Gaspard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Iriarte having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tu Vieja FC had played much better football throughout.
