Cristian Silban charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Silban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Bañil's Cristian Silban got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Anselmo Locaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Loi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hugo Loi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Chepe's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Ranquilcó FC's Hugo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Chepe in the 18th minute of play. Dario Sabino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Primeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute Horacio Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Frechoso got free with Adrian Primeiro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Loi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Eutropio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Horacio Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Eutropio might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Loi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Eutropio ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Real Bañil's goalkeeper Adrian Primeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Frechoso. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horacio Chepe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ranquilcó FC's Hugo Loi got control of the ball when Horacio Chepe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Real Bañil's Horacio Chepe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Loi. Hugo Loi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The supporters of Ranquilcó FC booed when Real Bañil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dario Sabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Frechoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Primeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Hugo Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Chepe in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Dario Sabino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranquilcó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Sabino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Primeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabio Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Bañil had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
