Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Primitivo Fernandez started the match with the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Team Roughnecks's Cesar Tabb in the 6th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Guillermo Cortez was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ercoupe FC through an amazing save. If Gustavo Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Harri struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bartolo Lastur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ercoupe FC. 26 minutes into the match, Team Roughnecks's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Fernandez came free, but Bartolo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Cesaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Cortez having to make a save. Guillermo Cortez stood somewhat misplaced when Cesar Tabb came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. Gustavo Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Team Roughnecks's Gustavo Cesaro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Tabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Cortez having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Bernardo Harri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ercoupe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Harri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Guillermo Cortez came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Team Roughnecks's Gustavo Cesaro. But to his dismay, Gustavo Cesaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Marcelino Chesus came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Team Roughnecks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Chesus couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Cesaro in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Cesaro in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Tabb's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Team Roughnecks's Bartolo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Fernandez in the 73rd minute of play. Bartolo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Fernandez in the 78th minute of play. Bernardo Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Lastur having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Cesaro in the 83rd minute of play forced Ercoupe FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Bernardo Harri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartolo Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Bernardo Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bartolo Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Team Roughnecks fully deserved thier win.
