After 7 minutes of play, Tu Vieja FC's Andres Cambranes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillermo Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guillermo Cortez came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Tu Vieja FC's Froilan Bernad. But to his dismay, Froilan Bernad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Andres Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes Ercoupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Salbatore. After having played for 26 minutes, Andres Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tu Vieja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Cambranes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Froilan Bernad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Guillermo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercoupe FC's Guillermo Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Bernad in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Bernad in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Cortez saved Ercoupe FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ercoupe FC's Bartolo Peli got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Ercoupe FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tu Vieja FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Bernad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Tu Vieja FC's Froilan Bernad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Cortez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Tu Vieja FC booed when Ercoupe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Cambranes in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Froilan Bernad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tu Vieja FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Primitivo Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Tu Vieja FC's Andres Cambranes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Cortez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ercoupe FC's Ermegildo Lartaun got a free kick in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Andres Cambranes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Guillermo Cortez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillermo Cortez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Bernad in the 79th minute. In the 80th match minute, Ercoupe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Lartaun to maneuver through the defense. If Froilan Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Cortez made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Froilan Bernad sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the game, Andres Cambranes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guillermo Cortez. Andres Cambranes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Guillermo Cortez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 1-7. Joel Salbatore kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Andres Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tu Vieja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Cambranes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Tu Vieja FC's Andres Cambranes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. When the final whistle sounded Tu Vieja FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ercoupe FC.
