The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bartolo Lastur made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Leandro Estevez sent off a good shot on target. Team Roughnecks's Bartolo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Team Roughnecks from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Belmiro having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Team Roughnecks's Cesar Tabb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Belmiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Honorato Eguen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Team Roughnecks getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cesar Tabb hit a great ball. Alfredo Belmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Tabb in the 29th minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Cesar Tabb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nightwatch's Alfredo Belmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Leonardo Pierres came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Nightwatch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Pierres couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Eron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Lastur having to make a save. Leandro Estevezs short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Bartolo Lastur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Rigoberto Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Roughnecks's Bartolo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Team Roughnecks from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Tabb made a kick off. Gustavo Cesaro in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfredo Belmiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 55 minutes into the match, Team Roughnecks's Cesar Tabb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Belmiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredo Belmiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Tabb's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nightwatch's zone, Gustavo Cesaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Belmiro came out of the goal and Gustavo Cesaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Nightwatch's goalkeeper Alfredo Belmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Cesaro. Leonardo Pierres hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Team Roughnecks's Gustavo Cesaro got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Team Roughnecks's Cesar Tabb was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Cesar Tabb was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Honorato Eguen hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Gustavo Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Cesar Tabb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nightwatch's Alfredo Belmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Cesaro struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Alfredo Belmiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Roughnecks. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Tabb in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Belmiro saved Nightwatch from getting behind. Leonardo Pierres charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Pierres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Team Roughnecks supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Team Roughnecks would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
