The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvano Santiago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Benicio Iratzeder fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mira que Equipo's protests and gave Benicio Iratzeder a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Benicio Iratzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uriel Maureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Paul's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Mira que Equipo's goalkeeper Uriel Maureo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Santiago. The supporters of Tabaquillo booed when Mira que Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mira que Equipo's Uriel Maureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mira que Equipo from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute Leonel Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Tabaquillo's Uriel Maureo threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonel Licerio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leonel Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Maureo having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Licerio to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tabaquillo's Leonel Licerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Maureo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Silvano Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Leonel Licerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tabaquillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 67 minutes, Silvano Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabaquillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Santiago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Tabaquillo's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Sabino came free, but Albano Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tabaquillo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ildefonso Clis hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Tabaquillo's Ildefonso Clis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Maureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Leonel Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Calvino kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Tabaquillo's Silvestre Tajo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 93rd match minute, Mira que Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Castel to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Santiago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uriel Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Tabaquillo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
