After recieving a nice pass, Instituto ACC's Teofilo Niguel tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Instituto ACC's Javier Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Karmel in the 16th minute of play. 25 minutes in the game, Faustino Roldan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ignacio Marino having to interfere. Isaias Cisco scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignacio Marino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matias Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ignacio Marino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Maore kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Isaias Cisco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Matias Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Instituto ACC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Jobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Marino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Faustino Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Jobo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Ignacio Marino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ignacio Marino made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Isaias Cisco sent off a good shot on target. Feliberto Tancredo charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Tancredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th match minute, Zonda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Tancredo to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Jobo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Desiderio Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
