Alfonso Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Txurio in the 16th minute of play. Ubaldo Txurio might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Oihenarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubaldo Txurio ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Spartak Kamchatka IFK booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Urki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Gervasio Cheche got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Rosario Central's Pedro Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Mitxel in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goalkeeper Pedro Richie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Mitxel. Alfonso Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Txurio in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Spartak Kamchatka IFK's Roberto Mitxel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Richie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 46th play minute Oscar Cefero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Richie. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubaldo Txurio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Spartak Kamchatka IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Cresencio to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Roberto Mitxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Richie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Txurio in the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Maximino Caradaro got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 97 played minutes, Spartak Kamchatka IFK's Fulgencio Canor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Richie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Spartak Kamchatka IFK reached it.
