Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) Cavour's Eliseo Roland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavour's goalkeeper Hector Tajo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hector Tajo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Pabla in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Pabla got free with Hector Tajo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Eliseo Roland came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cavour fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Roland couldn't finish the play. Conrado Faron might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Lucian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Faron ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Gitano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Eliseo Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Cavour's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Xabat came free, but Hector Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Faron in the 37th minute of play forced Bº Alto Verde's goalkeeper Diego Lucian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Xabat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Xabat to strike the kick off in the second half. Conrado Faron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Lucian having to interfere. Eliseo Roland might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Lucian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Roland ran back to his position shaking his head. If Eliseo Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo James's late challenge caught a Bº Alto Verde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo James helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cavour getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Camilo James hit a great ball. Saul Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Tajo having to interfere. Saul Xabat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cavour's Hector Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Pabla in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Cavour's Conrado Faron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Lucian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bº Alto Verde's Freddy Mendebal got a free kick in the 94th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Cavour's Maximo Elivareo tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cavour's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
