Cristobal Madeo got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Damian Frechoso. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Txurio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Lano was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The referee ignored Gorchs AFC's protests and gave Igor Bastia a yellow card for diving instead. Igor Bastia hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Ubaldo Txurio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gorchs AFC's Flavio Lano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Omar Isusko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gorchs AFC the free kick. The supporters of Gorchs AFC booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Isusko didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Tancredo was the one to do the kick off.
