Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ubaldo Txurio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edelmiro Tulio made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rosario Central's Omar Isusko. After having played for 6 minutes, Omar Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Isusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Txurio in the 9th minute of play forced Cavour's goalkeeper Hector Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Urki, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Cavour's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Txurio came free, but Hector Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Faron in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Richie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ubaldo Txurio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Txurio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Tajo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Urki might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Tajo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teo Urki ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Txurio in the 36th minute of play forced Cavour's goalkeeper Hector Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Cheche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hector Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosario Central's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eliseo Roland 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 45 minutes into the game, Cavour's Conrado Faron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Richie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Eliseo Roland made the kick off in the second half. Hector Tajo was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Ubaldo Txurio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ubaldo Txurio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Rosario Central's Pedro Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo James in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Cavour booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Cordarryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cavour's zone, Ubaldo Txurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Tajo came out of the goal and Ubaldo Txurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Txurio in the 67th minute of play. Gervasio Cheche struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Hector Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. In the 71st minute, Gervasio Cheche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teo Urki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Tajo having to make a save. If Ubaldo Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Tajo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ubaldo Txurio sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Richie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Faron in the 83rd minute of play. Hector Tajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Txurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's Ubaldo Txurio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Tajo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rosario Central's Ubaldo Txurio got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Rosario Central could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cavour throughout the match.
