Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulises Hodei started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Ulises Hodei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Karmel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Herensuge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Adan Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Ruperto Guillem sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guayquiraró FC's Gaspar Herensuge didn't even have to move. If Eulalio Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Enaut in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacio Marino saved Zonda AFC from getting behind. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zonda AFC's goalkeeper Ignacio Marino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ignacio Marino was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Julian Enaut capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Enaut really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Guayquiraró FC booed when Zonda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Guayquiraró FC's Astor Lucero tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 43rd play minute Eulalio Gaspard came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ignacio Marino. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Enaut made a kick off. When Gaudencio Karmel came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Zonda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Karmel couldn't finish the play. If Eulalio Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Enaut struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ignacio Marino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guayquiraró FC. The audience was convinced that Julian Enaut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Marino was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Sebastian Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gaudencio Karmel struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Gaspar Herensuge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zonda AFC. A collision led to Guayquiraró FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Paolo Frascuelo hit a great ball. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Zonda AFC's Ruperto Guillem got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gaspar Herensuge. After having played for 69 minutes, Gaudencio Karmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zonda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Karmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Marino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Enaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Julian Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Marino having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Guayquiraró FC's zone, Feliberto Tancredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Herensuge came out of the goal and Feliberto Tancredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Hodei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gaspar Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Gaspard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Herensuge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Karmel in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Guayquiraró FC defense, Gaudencio Karmel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Herensuge. The Guayquiraró FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Herensuge should have stopped the shot. The Zonda AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zonda AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
