The wind increased when Robustiano Ledesma made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Los Diablos booed when Monteverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Los Diablos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The Los Diablos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
