When Leonel Palos came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Djambalah FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Palos couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Koldo in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Anacleto Iraunkor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Sayveon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Choya AFC defense, Faustino Koldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Mambru. The Choya AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Mambru should have stopped the shot. Leonel Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anacleto Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 49 minutes, Hernan Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Choya AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Bertran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Choya AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Djambalah FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Iraunkor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonel Palos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alejandro Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Leonel Palos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alejandro Mambru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauricio Sayveon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernan Bertran went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ismael Romildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Choya AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Koldo came free, but Alejandro Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Romildo's late challenge caught a Choya AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Romildo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Djambalah FC's Ismael Romildo got a free kick in the 87th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Djambalah FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
