Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Club Atlético Yggdrasil's Albano Ubendu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albano Ubendu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Baltasar Ourente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Tiniebra having to make a save. Jose Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Ourente in the 17th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Virgilio Kimetz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Tiniebra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Felipe Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Conrao, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Los Diablos getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Roberto Oton hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Baltasar Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Diablos's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Ourente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Tiniebra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Kimetz in the 36th minute of play. Jose Tiniebra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Kimetz's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Virgilio Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Tiniebra having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Kimetz to strike the kick off in the second half. Club Atlético Yggdrasil's Jose Tiniebra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Kimetz in the 55th minute of play. Los Diablos were furious when Ciro Asier was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Diablos! In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Diablos's goalkeeper Felipe Barrionuevo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albano Ubendu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Lucio Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Albano Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baltasar Ourente came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Los Diablos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Ourente couldn't finish the play. Carmelo Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Tiniebra having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Sanson during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Los Diablos booed when Club Atlético Yggdrasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Sanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Club Atlético Yggdrasil's Albano Ubendu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Barrionuevo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Ubendu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético Yggdrasil had won after a very even match.
