In the 25th minute Epifanio Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Lico's late challenge caught a Choya AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Lico helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Lico hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Hernan Bertran took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Florian. Emilio Florian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Epifanio Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alejandro Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Cordaryal hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Epifanio Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anacleto Iraunkor to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Ramos in the 63rd minute of play. If Epifanio Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Artaldo in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Mambru saved Choya AFC from getting behind. Alejandro Mambru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Ramos's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Emilio Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Iraunkor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Centauro Madryn booed when Choya AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Urtun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Carlos Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centauro Madryn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Artaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Epifanio Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alejandro Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Artaldo in the 90th minute of play forced Choya AFC's goalkeeper Alejandro Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Mambru having to interfere. The Centauro Madryn manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Choya AFC to win.
