Anacleto Iraunkor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Romulo Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anacleto Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Thomas having to interfere. After some careless play in the Boston United defense, Hernan Bertran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Thomas. The Boston United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Thomas should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Arnaldo Orlandus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Orlandus was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Oton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Choya AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boston United the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Bertran got free with Romulo Thomas in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anacleto Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Anacleto Iraunkor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romulo Thomas, 1-3. Anacleto Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Orlandus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alejandro Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Choya AFC's Alejandro Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Orlandus in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Ignacio Urtun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Choya AFC and the Boston United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Choya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Urtun to maneuver through the defense. If Arnaldo Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Urtun hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes in the game, Jonatan Frederik dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Hernan Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Choya AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Choya AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
