Djambalah FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boston United the free kick. Atilano Salvidor hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Leonel Palos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Djambalah FC booed when Boston United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Leonel Palos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djambalah FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Palos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes Boston United got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Munio. 43 minutes into the game, Leonel Palos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Romulo Thomas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Orlandus to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jonatan Frederik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Orlandus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Lartaun's late challenge caught a Boston United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Lartaun helped the player get up and apologised. Eloy Lartaun kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Mauricio Sayveon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Orlandus's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Tolino during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicanor Tolino hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Arnaldo Orlandus came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Boston United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Orlandus couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Boston United's goalkeeper Romulo Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Palos. Arnaldo Orlandus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Sayveon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Boston United's zone, Leonel Palos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Thomas came out of the goal and Leonel Palos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Orlandus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Sayveon was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Faustino Koldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Boston United's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Koldo came free, but Romulo Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Paloss short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Romulo Thomas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mauricio Sayveon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Frederik in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Boston United's goalkeeper Romulo Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Palos. In the 93rd minute, Boston United's Hermengildo Loren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hermengildo Loren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Boston United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hermengildo Loren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Boston United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Djambalah FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, Djambalah FC's Atilano Salvidor got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Romulo Thomas.
