With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Gagriel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Breogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Dimo having to interfere. Zeledon Orti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Gagriel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Motivados Balonpie's zone, Zeledon Orti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Gagriel came out of the goal and Zeledon Orti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Motivados Balonpie's goalkeeper Melchor Gagriel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Orti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Motivados Balonpie's Braulio Erruki got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Zeledon Orti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
