After 15 minutes, Anacleto Sotil made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cuervos Libertadores's Nicasio Hotz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Aldo Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Iliana charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Iliana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Aldo Bela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Hotz was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Paulino Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cecilio Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Sotil in the 29th minute of play forced Cuervos Libertadores's goalkeeper Nicasio Hotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Horacio Tonete fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Anacleto Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Michael kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half FERDINAND FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Bela to strike the kick off in the second half. If Horacio Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuervos Libertadores's Nicasio Hotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Bela in the 58th minute of play. Horacio Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Claude having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FERDINAND FC's zone, Paulino Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Claude came out of the goal and Paulino Ermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Bela might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Hotz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Bela ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Aldo Bela managed to get in a good position for a shot. FERDINAND FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Bela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Hotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anacleto Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Hotz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FERDINAND FC's Marcelo Magdaleno got a free kick in the 79th minute. 1-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Paulino Ermano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Niceto Michael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
