After having played for 17 minutes, Ciro Rocendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Rocendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute of the match Gustavo Urtun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Domenec skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th match minute, Ovara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Iban to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Domenec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th match minute, Società Sportiva Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Peter to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Ovara's Cecilio Iban broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Società Sportiva Calcio's Conrado Domenec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Selmo in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Società Sportiva Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Selmo came free, but Conrado Domenec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ovara's Cipriano Indartsu got control of the ball when Octavio Inautzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Octavio Inautzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ovara's Cipriano Indartsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Alfonso Ignazio fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ovara's protests and gave Alfonso Ignazio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ovara's Alfonso Ignazio got a free kick in the 40th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Inautzi to make the kick off. After 75 minutes, Miguel Peter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Società Sportiva Calcio and the Ovara players grew even worse after the yellow card.
