After a defensive mix-up in PINK FC's zone, Zeledon Iratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Loco came out of the goal and Zeledon Iratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th match minute, PINK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Garci to maneuver through the defense. PINK FC's Ismael Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Rudolfo in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Scaloneta getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Angelino Bernal hit a great ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Cayetano Katia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PINK FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Katia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Gaxan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. Herminio Dalmu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Gaxan having to make a save. Ismael Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Rudolfo in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as PINK FC's Herminio Dalmu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestor Gaxan. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. When Scaloneta's Casimiro Rudolfo in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PINK FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute, Cayetano Katia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nestor Gaxan. The goal made the score 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Rudolfo was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Herminio Dalmu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PINK FC and the Scaloneta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ismael Loco made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Casimiro Rudolfo sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ismael Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Rudolfo got in the 65th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ismael Loco handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Cayetano Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Scaloneta's Zeledon Iratze slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Loco. That made the score 2-2 after 72 minutes of play. PINK FC's Ismael Loco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save PINK FC from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Gervasio Llorienzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Loco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 80th minute, PINK FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Casimiro Rudolfo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute, Scaloneta's Higinio Faron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Rudolfo got free with Ismael Loco in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
