Felipe Peruanton charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Peruanton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Felipe Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Rudolfo had several of the Luyaba's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Adan Lano as he didn't even see the shot coming. 39 minutes into the match, Luyaba's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Rudolfo came free, but Adan Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Luyaba's zone, Angelino Bernal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Lano came out of the goal and Angelino Bernal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Casimiro Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Casimiro Rudolfo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Rudolfo couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Rudolfo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Casimiro Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Rudolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Lano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Higinio Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Adan Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Rudolfo scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adan Lano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adan Lano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Rudolfo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Casimiro Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adan Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Rudolfo in the 70th minute of play. Adan Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Rudolfo in the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Angelino Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Bernal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casimiro Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Llorienzo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Scaloneta's Zeledon Iratze got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Casimiro Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Casimiro Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot.
