When Axel Krafzig fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Fe United's protests and gave Axel Krafzig a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Delamorta booed when Santa Fe United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Krafzig didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Delamorta's Aquiles Froylan in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Fe United's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Edorta during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Froilan Edorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Olayo took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Emenon. Leo Emenon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With his leg Leo Emenon managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Santa Fe United's Laureano Olayo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 25 in the game by Laureano Olayo from a close distance when the talented Leo Emenon managed to make a qualified save. Delamorta's players were relieved. In the 27th match minute, Delamorta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Galtero to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Axel Krafzig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Emenon was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Bernardino Belarmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eusebio Faron. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aquiles Froylan made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Denis Nicholas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delamorta and the Santa Fe United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Delamorta got a freekick which was hit by Denis Nicholas. After 53 played minutes Santa Fe United got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Aimar. Axel Krafzig might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Emenon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Krafzig ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 minutes, Laureano Olayo made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Delamorta's Leo Emenon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Delamorta's Leo Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Olayo in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Laureano Olayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Emenon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delamorta's goalkeeper Leo Emenon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Laureano Olayo sped through Delamorta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leo Emenon. After having played for 90 minutes, Mauro Arano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Fe United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Arano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Aimar took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Emenon. Leo Emenon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Laureano Olayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Emenon having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Santa Fe United had played much better football throughout.
