Thanks to some nice moves Epifanio Ferrer could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Cipriano Indartsu however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Tadeo Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Zapiola's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Mundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Indartsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ovara's Alfonso Ignazio suffered a concussion after 14 minutes and had to leave the field. 14 minutes into the game, Israel Odilon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Zapiola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ovara the free kick. After 15 played minutes Club Atletico Zapiola got a freekick which was hit by Israel Odilon. Cecilio Iban, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eustacio Bikendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Rocendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Tadeo Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Indartsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Tadeo Mundo rounded Ovara's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Epifanio Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes, Club Atletico Zapiola's Severino Bortzaioriz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cipriano Indartsu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Zapiola reached it. When Epifanio Ferrer came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Club Atletico Zapiola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Ferrer couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes of play, Club Atletico Zapiola's Epifanio Ferrer made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cipriano Indartsu was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Rocendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Club Atletico Zapiola. Severino Bortzaioriz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cipriano Indartsu. 3-0. Tadeo Mundo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Cipriano Indartsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Zapiola. Cipriano Indartsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Rocendo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Bortzaioriz in the 77th minute of play forced Ovara's goalkeeper Cipriano Indartsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Mundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Indartsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Cipriano Indartsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Ferrer in the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Mundo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Indartsu saved Ovara from getting behind. Bernardo Lugo charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Lugo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Bernardo Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Epifanio Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atletico Zapiola had won after a very even match.
