Manuel Kaxen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ovara's Bernardo Lugo got a free kick in the 12th minute. Adan Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Selmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Lano having to interfere. Ciro Rocendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adan Lano having to make a save. 24 minutes into the match, Ovara's Ciro Rocendo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adan Lano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 28 minutes, Benito Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Selmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Rocendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Adan Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Selmo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Lano saved Luyaba from getting behind. Cecilio Iban took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adan Lano. Luyaba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 42 minutes in the game, Manuel Kaxen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cipriano Indartsu having to interfere. If Ciro Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Manuel Kaxen came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Luyaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Kaxen couldn't finish the play. After having played for 82 minutes, Alvaro Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luyaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Innocenzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Luyaba booed when Ovara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luyaba's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
