An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Feliu in the 3rd minute of play forced Iraola AFC's goalkeeper Jacobo Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Teofilo Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iraola AFC's Edgard Gilabert got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ayajaso were furious when Luis Urdin was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Ayajaso:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Iraola AFC:s goal. The referee gave Iraola AFC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anselmo Kauldi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ayajaso's Prudencio Esiquio. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Iraola AFC's zone, Teofilo Silvestre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Theodore came out of the goal and Teofilo Silvestre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ayajaso booed when Iraola AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Geofredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iraola AFC's zone, Facundo Cordaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Theodore came out of the goal and Facundo Cordaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Facundo Cordaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jacobo Theodore made a huge save. After 44 played minutes Ayajaso got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Paskal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Facundo Cordaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Ayajaso's Teofilo Silvestre got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Iraola AFC's Edgard Gilabert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Esiquio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prudencio Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Gilabert in the 56th minute of the match. Prudencio Esiquio came out of the goal and Edgard Gilabert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Teofilo Silvestre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ayajaso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With his leg Prudencio Esiquio managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Iraola AFC's Ivan Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Facundo Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jacobo Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Pascual Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th match minute, Ayajaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cordaro to maneuver through the defense. If Facundo Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Prudencio Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ayajaso getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Teofilo Silvestre hit a great ball. Ivan Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Esiquio having to interfere. Edgard Gilabert struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Prudencio Esiquio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iraola AFC. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
