The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Guayacán FC booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Ladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Guayacán FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Rosario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Bizen. In the 14th minute, Fabian Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godfredo Abalos during the 17th minute. A collision led to Guayacán FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Remigio Nataniel hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, Guayacán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Abalos to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes Maximino Gonzalez rounded Guayacán FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Guayacán FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Maximino Gonzalez scored to the left of an out of position Cristobal Rosario, making the score, 3-0. Maximino Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Hunfredo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Porvenir's Aquiles Ladio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Norberto Bizen made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Rosario. Guayacán FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 62 minutes into the match, Guayacán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Bizen came free, but Cristobal Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Hunfredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
