Melchor Sandalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Che made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Lano in the 13th minute of play. La Máquina de Matar's Bonifacio Che played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Ixidor in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Dolfo came free, but Melchor Sandalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Ixidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Dolfo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Sandalio saved Concepción from getting behind. Melchor Sandalio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Silban in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Damaso Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Che saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Edgard Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, La Máquina de Matar's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Ixidor came free, but Bonifacio Che reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Sandalio having to interfere.

The wind increased when Damaso Lano made the kick off in the second half. Saul Dolfo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Melchor Sandalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Máquina de Matar. Bonifacio Che made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Ixidor in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Evelio Boni got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Karmel to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Antonio Jaen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melchor Sandalio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Saul Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, La Máquina de Matar's Bonifacio Che got control of the ball when Erubiel Ixidor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Saul Dolfo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melchor Sandalio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Concepción defense, Saul Dolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Sandalio. The Concepción fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Sandalio should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Gerardo Karmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Jaen, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Faustino Silban notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Concepción's Melchor Sandalio. Melchor Sandalio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Faustino Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Lano's late challenge caught a La Máquina de Matar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damaso Lano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Máquina de Matar booed when Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Abel Seme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Máquina de Matar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Seme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Máquina de Matar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Concepción had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
