Amado Benvide came out of the goal and Erubiel Ixidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Filipo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 77 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Karmel. The attack was good, but when Serafin Bonadona in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 81 minutes into the match, Concepción's goalkeeper Melchor Sandalio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Veto. Jeremias Oliverio came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melchor Sandalio could save by the left post. Jeremias Oliverio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Sandalio having to make a save. Club Deportivo Mandiyu's Ramon Tonio got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Ramon Tonio off the ground.
