Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ballester AFC's Melquiades Loramendi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Faustino Silban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luisito Vedillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute, Saul Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Faustino Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, La Máquina de Matar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Jaen charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Jaen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Ballester AFC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Godfredo Truylos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Máquina de Matar's Bonifacio Che. 1-1. Luisito Vedillo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by La Máquina de Matar's Faustino Silban. But to his dismay, Faustino Silban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 38 minutes, Edgard Reyes made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ballester AFC's Luisito Vedillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Faustino Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Faustino Silban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Vedillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Ballester AFC's Luisito Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Silban in the 56th minute of play. Damaso Gaur's late challenge caught a La Máquina de Matar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damaso Gaur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Damaso Gaur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, La Máquina de Matar's Antonio Jaen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Osmundo during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ballester AFC's Mariano Osmundo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Saul Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Faustino Silban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ballester AFC defense, Saul Dolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Vedillo. The Ballester AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Vedillo should have stopped the shot. Bonifacio Che showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Loramendi in the 70th minute of the match. Baltasar Rojelio kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, La Máquina de Matar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Damaso Gaur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Antonio Jaen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luisito Vedillo. Ballester AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute Saul Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Saul Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
