Bonifacio Che made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Gonzalez in the 13th minute of play. If Maximino Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Porvenir booed when La Máquina de Matar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Dolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bonifacio Che tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcial Patxi fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Máquina de Matar's protests and gave Marcial Patxi a yellow card for diving instead. Marcial Patxi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Porvenir's Carlos Jurdan got control of the ball when Faustino Silban tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Norberto Bizen came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Porvenir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Bizen couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Porvenir's Norberto Bizen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a rather tough play, La Máquina de Matar's Edgard Reyes got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Arturo Sandaili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Martinez during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Porvenir getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Valentin Martinez hit a great ball. Carlos Jurdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Dolfo in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Maximino Gonzalez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bonifacio Che, 0-4. Baltasar Ignado hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Norberto Bizen scored 0-5 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Che, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Dolfo in the 79th minute of play forced Porvenir's goalkeeper Carlos Jurdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes La Máquina de Matar got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Reyes.
