Jose Arce came out of the goal and Benjamin Christobal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Adolfo Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Rius charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Rius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramiro Rius hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes, Bailanta FC's Edgard Abeitia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Ariando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bailanta FC reached it. Aaron Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Maxin in the 83rd minute of the match. Jose Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
