Spectators: 7118 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maximo Ranolfo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Aurelio Abaunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Aurelio Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geuvfj's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Jusepe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the game, Apolo Berdaitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Inocencio Jobo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inocencio Jobo was a little too slow when Marcial Ubendu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Monteverde AFC's zone, Aurelio Abaunza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Jusepe came out of the goal and Aurelio Abaunza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Oscar Argina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Inocencio Jobo. The goal made the score 3-0. 29 minutes into the game, Oscar Argina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Inocencio Jobo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Monteverde AFC's Inocencio Jobo threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximo Ranolfo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Aurelio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Abaunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dario Jusepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aurelio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Jusepe having to interfere. Albino Eskuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Peruxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Peruxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Jusepe having to make a save. Rodolfo Peruxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Jusepe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Inocencio Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Argina in the 73rd minute of play. Rodolfo Peruxu had several of the Monteverde AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Dario Jusepe as he didn't even see the shot coming. 82 minutes into the game, Oscar Argina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Inocencio Jobo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the game, Eustacio Uxio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monteverde AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geuvfj the free kick. Rodolfo Peruxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Jusepe having to interfere. The Monteverde AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Geuvfj had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
