Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rustico FC's Hermengildo Bembe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rustico FC's Modesto Mikelats got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Rustico FC's Modesto Mikelats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cleto Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Modesto Mikelats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Bembe in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 18 minutes, Modesto Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rustico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Mikelats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godfredo Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Ranolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Rustico FC's Hermengildo Bembe in the 29th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cleto Ramos was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Portugalete through an amazing save. Victoriano Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Mikelats got free with Cleto Ramos in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Hermengildo Bembe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Bembe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cleto Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Ranolfo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Zacarias Frasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Ramos having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Portugalete's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Mikelats came free, but Cleto Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Rustico FC's Modesto Mikelats nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleto Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Bembe in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Ramos saved Portugalete from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, Portugalete's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Bembe came free, but Cleto Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Markel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Modesto Mikelats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cleto Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Markel got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Rustico FC booed when Portugalete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Markel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Fabricio Feliz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugalete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rustico FC the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Fabricio Feliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Hermengildo Bembe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermengildo Bembe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rustico FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
