The audience was convinced that Basilio Nel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Raymon was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Club Atlético Musquilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Mikelar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Guido Mikelar made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Musquilla's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Nel came free, but Mariano Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Cesar Edwardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jeremie Decano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Musquilla the free kick. If Basilio Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Musquilla's Jairo Quinten broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jairo Quinten hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Cesar Enol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonatan Dodorol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cesar Enol came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Club Atlético Musquilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Enol couldn't finish the play. Club Atlético Musquilla's Guido Mikelar got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonatan Dodorol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Enol in the 81st minute of play. If Guido Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Gorbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Raymon having to interfere. Club Atlético Musquilla's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Basilio Nel 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Paolo Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jeremie Decano's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Gorbea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
