The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Ixaka got free with Fulgencio Evangelista in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute, Teofilo Hulberto made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Handi. Joyango FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ermegildo Orlondon struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Fulgencio Evangelista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joyango FC. Celedonio Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Hulberto in the 19th minute of play forced Joyango FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Handi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Felix Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulgencio Evangelista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 played minutes, Herlitzka's Patricio Gartzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celedonio Handi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Herlitzka reached it. Celedonio Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Hulberto in the 29th minute of the match. Felix Ixaka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Fulgencio Evangelista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Gerardo Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joyango FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Bento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fulgencio Evangelista having to make a save. Felix Ixaka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Fulgencio Evangelista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joyango FC's Silvano Marko quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Playo, made in the 36th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Felix Ixaka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Evangelista was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Ixaka was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Felix Ixaka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herlitzka's Fulgencio Evangelista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gerardo Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Herlitzka's zone, Felix Ixaka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Evangelista came out of the goal and Felix Ixaka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herlitzka's Fulgencio Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Ixaka in the 60th minute of play. Amadeo Lander kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Gerardo Perfecto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Celedonio Handi made a huge save. When Joyango FC's Felix Ixaka in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herlitzka's goalie prevented a goal. If Felix Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Joyango FC's Felix Ixaka made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulgencio Evangelista was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Felix Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joyango FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Ixaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Ermegildo Orlondon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Fulgencio Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Ixaka in the 92nd minute of the match. Elpidio Ruggeri placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Joyango FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
