The referee ignored Burundanga FC's protests and gave Victorio Txema a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jeronimo Raitins short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Dante Jorrin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Burundanga FC's zone, Jeronimo Raitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Jorrin came out of the goal and Jeronimo Raitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Quin to make the kick off.
