With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Bermudez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Salomone in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes Sida Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alonzo Peruanton who took care of the corner kick. Haroldo Salomone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Maximiliano Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Faro in the 34th minute of the match. Maximiliano Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sida Futbol Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hugo Faro 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Hugo Faro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Bermudez was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Maximiliano Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Haroldo Salomone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Bermudez having to interfere. Hugo Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Teobaldo Gorka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Despertador FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sida Futbol Club throughout the match.
