Cabrera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despertador FC the free kick. The supporters of Despertador FC booed when Cabrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Despertador FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alonzo Peruanton hit a great ball. Sergio Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Furman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Sergio Truylos managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Cabrera's Benigno Kinsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 20 minutes into the game, Augusto Janpier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabrera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despertador FC the free kick. Cabrera's Maximiliano Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Rojelio in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Despertador FC booed when Cabrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cabrera getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Angelino Uxio hit a great ball. Haroldo Salomone took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximiliano Aritza. Maximiliano Aritza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Faro in the 35th minute of play forced Cabrera's goalkeeper Maximiliano Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Salomone in the 39th minute of the match. Hugo Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Aritza having to interfere. Haroldo Salomone struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Maximiliano Aritza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despertador FC. In the 44th match minute, Cabrera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Janpier to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Despertador FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Faro to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cabrera's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Faro came free, but Maximiliano Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despertador FC's Sergio Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Kinsen in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Angelino Uxio put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sergio Truylos. Angelino Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Truylos having to interfere. A hard shot by Alonzo Peruanton from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Maximiliano Aritza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Despertador FC's Sergio Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Uxio in the 72nd minute of play. Maximiliano Aritza came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Despertador FC's Haroldo Salomone. But to his dismay, Haroldo Salomone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Angelino Uxio scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Truylos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Aritza having to interfere. Hugo Faro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Maximiliano Aritza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despertador FC. Haroldo Salomone's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Maximiliano Aritza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Cabrera fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Despertador FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
