Granate's Mateo Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Salomone in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Granate's Victoriano Furtado got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Alonzo Peruanton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Hibai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Victoriano Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Faro in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Rey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sergio Truylos. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. In the 40th minute, Alberto Illan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Hibai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Cesar Bastia fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granate's protests and gave Cesar Bastia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Bastia to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Hugo Faro made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Granate's Aureliano Romano got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Furtado during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Victoriano Furtado hit a great ball. Mateo Hibai was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alonzo Peruanton. In the 57thth minute of the game Hugo Faro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granate's Mateo Hibai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Hugo Faro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mateo Hibai, 1-2. Aureliano Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sergio Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Paublo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergio Truylos. Despertador FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Faro came free, but Mateo Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Despertador FC's Hugo Faro in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sergio Truylos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Romano in the 82nd minute of the match. If Haroldo Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 87 minutes, Hugo Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Despertador FC and the Granate players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Hugo Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Hibai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Amor to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 95 minutes play.
