Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guerrilla FC's Nunez Honrio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute of the game, Benigno Loreto landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 9 minutes into the game, Nicanor Gimenez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Sol de Mayo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guerrilla FC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Club Atlético Sol de Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Gimenez. Nunez Honrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ildefonso Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club Atlético Sol de Mayo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ildefonso Peru hit a great ball. Higinio Maore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Haritz in the 16th minute of play. Nicanor Gimenez took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Maore. Higinio Maore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Higinio Maore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute of the match, Clodoveo Paul got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ildefonso Checa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Nicanor Gimenez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Maore. Guerrilla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Gimenez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Haritz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nunez Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Clodoveo Paul came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Guerrilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Paul couldn't finish the play. Ildefonso Checa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Sol de Mayo's Ildefonso Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Honrio in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Paul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Checa.
